The Voice magazine challenge

In March issue of Ville de Coeur`s magazine – THE VOICE – we announced The Voice Challenge – a competition for all our magazine readers. The first challenge was a riddle:

People have funny stories about him – or less funny! – but even if he is not liked by everyone, he never hides! He accompanies you whenever you want to explore Ville de Coeur – and he never complains if the journey takes too long! Whether it`s raining or snowing, he always wears the same cheerfully colored clothes.

We received answers that showed us, once again, how creative and inspired you are!

Below are the short stories and photos for the competition. Vote for the picture/message you like best – and for even more votes you can invite your friends to vote for you too.

Voting starts today, April 26 and lasts until April 28 – 10 AM SLT.

Good luck everyone!

Here we go:

Amelie

“If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!” What better way to enjoy the lovely vistas and panaramas that the beautiful Ville de Coeur estate offers than to share a wonderful, roving, sunset dinner with someone special atop the roof of a local trolley as it makes its rounds! Here we devour our entrees as the trolley arrives at the main beach, and we hope to savor our desserts at, and in time for, the trolley’s stop at Chez Pierre courtyard in Bourgogne! This particular “dining room” simply requires the services of acrobats to provide the music and table service!

Claudia

I had a dangerous encounter with a trolly last year. The trolly wanted to overtake me all the time. When I arrived in Amalfi the trolley rammed me from behind. In doing so, it pushed itself onto my car and completely wedged itself into my car. Luckily nothing happened to me but my car was completely destroyed. Bedrich and AL had to send for a crane truck to lift the train off my broken car. The road was closed for a long time so Lin had to turn around to get out of town. Luckily the insurance paid for everything.

Lucas

As the latest protective measure against the Corona virus, the road traffic authorities have now decided to allow several trolleys to run in a group. This way, more people can be kept apart in the trolleys. At the same time, the tremendous increase in public transport is taken into account. Overcrowded trains are now a thing of the past. The office is already thinking about adding more trolleys, so that chains of five or more trolleys can be created, in order to give even more people the opportunity to travel on the trains. The local automobile club, however, has already announced protests. It would be too dangerous to overtake such long train chains.

Lena

Recently, something unexpected happened to me while riding a trolli. I was on the way from Alsace to Bougogne. Just as we were driving down from the mountains of Comte it happened. The Trolli drove straight into a freshly asphalted piece of road. Slowly it began to sink into the asphalt. I could just jump out. The trolli sank up to the roof. I quickly took a picture of it. The only good thing was that there was a Couple Walker sign posted there. So I still found my way home – lool.

  1. These are all just too funny! I remember Claudia’s well. The car looked genuinely like it had been in an accident with the trolley smashing it into the road! Lucas has a great idea! We can just put 50 trolleys on the road and we can set them to only allow one rider at a time. The trolley sinking into the asphalt was actually a very bad problem because there were 50 of them there! As for Maryse, I suppose the trolleys should be reprogrammed so they stop looking for her. lol The dining cars are great too! We really need to get some restaurants going. What better way than having the restaurant come to you!
